This one-hour level 3 class focuses on standing poses and works towards Parivrtta Trikonasana and Parivrtta Parsvakonasana. The emphasis is on the alignment of the legs and pelvis. Virabhadrasana I is done using a chair to help to align the femur head in the hip socket  and show how the bent leg thigh should feel.

What is level 3?
The level 3 (able and willing) class is meant for experienced Iyengar yoga students who are capable of doing head balance at the wall for 5 minutes and who can lie over a chair in a back bend conveniently and from there can push up to a back arch.
